A slug? What is this supposed life coach saying? A “slug” is a lazy, unmotivated, ner’ do well, right? That is one definition, but another comes from the days of steam powered locomotion. When those huge potentially fire breathing steam locomotives were sitting cold and required action to bring them to life; a “slug” of glowing hot coals was used to ignite the coal fuel in the burner box and build the steam to move the train and do the work required of the engine.
Be that slug this year. Ignite the fuel of your vast potential and bring your motive force to life.
For this New Year don’t make “resolutions” that will quickly be dropped. Set challenging but doable goals and write them down – including the steps and action required to accomplish them.
