Thrivers take responsibility for their lives.

Blaming others for our poor decisions, mistakes, poor fitness, or any other aspect of life that is not the way we want it to be is the only way to completely fail in life. This is not to say that we should blame ourselves for everything in the world either. Most “major” events in the world are outside of our control so we should not blame ourselves for the crazy crap politicians, politically appointed officials, talking head news casters or other weak-minded people do, or say.

Think about something here – what has the most direct influence on how your life goes? Does what a president or Facebook poster says affect your life more than how you choose to live? It is easy to blame problems on some looming entity like “Big Government”, but in my 60 plus years, my life has been better or worse due to my decisions and actions and thoughts much more than the decisions and actions and words of any government entity.
